Kemptville 5 Star around 10 AM give or take.
We'll have to get Fox to make the reservation, I'll have to wear a disguise :)
Sounds good.
I'm good for the Saturday morning.
Sunday I have a kids Christmas party to attend.
Meet with Surgeon tomorrow and should have a date shortly after. Life is being played by ear right now. I am making lots of progress depriming brass and shotgun shells for reloading in the winter. Really bored and it is killing me watching everyone post up pictures of deer.
We can do Saturday morning but not Sunday.
OK so

I'll chime in. I'll come and I'll see if I can get my brother (a new hunter) to come along. (We just need to have no tornadoes this time around!)
As a follow up, I'll be bringing my son (10 yo) with me as well.

Is that all you guys do down there, is eat? Everytime I turn around, someone your way is advertising a breakfast? As cranky and obstinate as I have been in the past, I'd love to join you guys one day. Its a bit far to drive for a breakfast. Maybe one day?
We never seem to be able to get together to eat, last time there was a series of Tornados in the area that caused a flood of people from Ottawa to our little area, ask MikePal how it was holding a table with a line out the door, ha ha.
The Soo has some nice places to eat, at least from what I remember. We crossed the border and went to Antlers on the US side, was threatened by a US border agent on our way too.
You should come down sometime. We've had people come from Northern Ontario and Southern Ontario.
And none of us bite. OK well I can say for sure I don't bite, well I don't bite in public although there was that one time at the bar that a Girl Friend, yeah probably getting carried away here.
Anyways nobody bites.
Or if your ever going to be down this way just say so.
I caught some of that story about a lot of guys not showing up? Ya, I imagine MP would have been a popular guy sitting at a big table by himself, when the crowd was lined up waiting? LOL I hope he left a good tip for the waitress?
One day?
The Quarterly breakfast was only messed up once, like Fox said Tornado's and I had to work .:)
Looking forward to it, always a good time to get the CTC in Kemptville, along with TSC.
I'm going to try to make it out to this one. I'll confirm next week.
Hey folks, being new, again, to the area and seems like I can’t find enough folks who like to get out, might join you on Saturday next weekend!
I can't make it. I forgot that my wife is busy all day, so I'm on kid duty.
I have to drop off 2 of them at an appointment in Ottawa at 9:30, then pick them up at 12. Alternatively, I'd have to bring all 3 of them with me, and trust me, nobody wants that! Me trying to keep an eye on 3 rugrats at a restaurant solo is not enjoyable for me or the patrons.
It's too bad because it's been a while since I have been able to make it out to one of these.
I will be there with my son and maybe another friend. He will probably be a last minute confirmation though.
OK So this looks like what we got

Coach Joe??
So Mike would you like to book it? You can put it under my name if you like, just tell them Greatwhite.
So let's say 10 if more show up I'm sure we can squeeze them in.

See you there
Thanks for setting this up and making reservations, see you then
And yes I will be there.
Hopefully everyone can be there for breakfast tomorrow at 10:00
Logan and I are going rabbit hunting afterwards in Marlborough Forest, if anyone would like to join.
Count me in and that would be a great double header !!
Another successful OOD Breakfast 'meet and greet'...a good turnout and nice to see a few new faces. Thanks for getting this one organized GW !!
How did you and Logan make out hunting after ?
Logan and I went in off Paden road. We did see a few rabbits. The first one was in dense brush and I saw it going several times but couldn't really get a bead on it. The second rabbit was on the move, Logan took off after it it but we lost sight of it. I showed him different tracks Deer, Coyote. We saw a white Ermine I think thats what it was. Also seen to of the largest porcupines I have ever seen.
We also came about a pile of pine cones piled neatly in the branch's of a small tree. I'm guessing a squirrel has piled his food source right beside it.
Great seeing everyone. Sorry I could not get out for a hunt with you.
A little late. Thanks for setting up the breakfast. I had mentioned that I'd share a link to some maps of Lanark County forests. What I've found on this page is that if you select Lanark County Forests in the layers box, it highlights a bunch of OTHER forest areas that might be worth exploring. Have fun!

Thanks for that link..greatly appreciated.
I know we also talked about the Limerick Forrest, but that link doesn't show it very well. If you go to this link you can see the area better. It's divided into north and south and has lost of access trails.
Lots of the trails aren't used during Hunting season and will take you well off the beaten path. Some great hunting back there.
