It anit work if you're having fun get 'em ready for the fall.
Beautiful puppy. The worst gets behind you quickly enough. Great years ahead. Good Luck
Congrats! I have hunted a few times over Pudelpointers, nice dogs.
Nice looking pup, looks like it might end up being a slick. Congrats and have fun training.
Nice dog congrats
Nice looking pup.
Every time getting a pup pops into my brain , I try to quickly eliminate the thought. All I have to remember is the thought of getting up at 5 am. LOL
Good idea to get on the Versatile Dog Forum for good advice on versatiles.

That was me 3 years ago.
So much fun and learning ahead!
I have hunted Pudelpointers for 10 years now. Love them. You and your pup have some great times ahead. Cherish it.
My Radar is from Pineridge as well. Welcome to the club. Fantastic hunters, what is even better is they will become your best friend. I put all my faith in the NAVDA green book for training. Be aware they are super intelligent. Needing a lot of brain stimulation as well as physical exercise. Enjoy.
Thanks guys! Oliver is a smart and stubborn little fellow!
I'll give some updates on progress! Thanks again for the kind words.
Rob.
Puppy! Always an exciting time. Enjoy it all, take more photos than you can count :)
Hang on tight and enjoy the ride!!! Congrats.
We should setup up a meet 'n greet with our Pudelpointers....
Tired of people commenting on your "cute chocolate lab puppy" yet? or "Oh Poodle Pointer? I've never seen that mix before".
It never gets old.... LOL
What’s your best method for getting burs out of your puddle pointer fur after a hunt?
We just got back from our first hunt and Sage is covered.
I don’t have a PP but I have DD and GWP. I carry a steel toothed comb in my vest and as the dogs pick up burrs etc, I try to comb them out quickly during water breaks before they get too matted in. It’s usually the beard that is the issue. The rest of their coat cleans out easily.
same here - get a metal comb
