Has anyone got their physical Moose tag yet?

This new system has me wondering. It says we were successful and quotes a license # and designated alternative BUT none of the guys in our group have those license#'s quoted!

Brand new this year! You need to print it yourself (@ home or office) or go to Service Ontario. Read the regulations about the change.

I thought that only applied to deer tags. I guess I read that wrong. Paper tags on a moose. This won't last long.

I still don't understand how to tell if it says "group successful", who got the tag on our group

I will be laminating my tags.

Not sure how to check who got the tag. Call Service Ontario or the Outdoor Card Centre. Or, call the guys in the group.

When we checked if we were successful on the moose draw, only the successful applicant was informed as such. The other members of the group were not and it didn't state the group was successful.

You don’t have to tag your moose until you get it to camp or home, as long as the tag holder is with or near the moose. When tagging, put it in a zip loc bag and zip tie it to the moose....no big problem.

When I checked to see if my application was successful, I was told no, but another in the group was successful.

What a system smh.

yes but it still needs to be notched indicating the date/time of the kill

Someone told me laminating was "altering" a tag. So is it all right to do it or not?

Evidently not. I put mine in a ZipLok with my maps etc. then,inside my day pack. I printed my Deer and Moose tag off without a hitch,today. I'm a happy camper.

Our camp drew a bull tag, WMU 60

At least one CO agrees with me. They should have no complaints as long as the info is legible and appears original. I’m prepared to go to go to court over it, but I’m confident that I won’t be charged.
