One more new thing this year to cause massive confusion! lol
The controlled hunt validation now appears on the license summary only. However it doesn't list any details. Like WMU or what dates the validation is for. As far as I can tell there is no option to print the validation card with the hunt week details.
It does have a bar code so I would imagine the CO's will be scanning it while checking you during your hunt. :)
I wouldn't know as I was unsuccessful again for the 4th straight year.
I just tried too, and can confirm what the OP stated above. At the moment, I'm under the impression we are to re-print the licence summary and keep that with you during your hunt. Or, perhaps for the controlled hunt validation permits will still be mailed out? I will have to go back and re-check the regs, but I don't remember seeing anything regarding controlled permits.

Now from the above quoted section they do not call it a license summary but call it a hunting license initially then they call it a license summary.Everybody confused so far.

To make this easy if nobody knows including me if you don’t want to print your tag or don’t have a printer you can go to bass pro get your regular tag and it will have your validation all in one I just called and that’s what they told me

You can also email the summary to your email account and save it on you smart phone for reference.

Re-printed my summary and it's there now.
My License summary shows the unit and dates and whether the deer I can take is a buck or doe, but do we need to print another tag???

However, my deer tag states valid for 1 antlered deer any WMU. Does this make sense? Shouldn't it state antlered or antlerless on the tag??
