First Goose Hunt

Two shots, two birds!

I took my red dog out for her first goose hunt on Saturday. Shot twice, knocked down two birds for her :) if it wasn't for Reba, this hunt would not have been the success it was. So proud of my girl -- quiet while we waited for the birds to come in, steady while I shot, and did a great job retrieving enormous birds for her first time. The edge of the land drops off steeply at this pond, so she had to muscle them UP and out of the pond. Nice job, Red!

This girl just has endless energy. She is five and I compete with her, and I have never seen her tired. She's quite the dog.
