Hey all, I fish a lot at Lake eugenia, and one of the main species I fish for in the summer is carp, can anyone provide me with some tips for finding these fish in the winter? They would be super fun to hook into. Thanks!

That would be awesome! I'd like to know too.
Not sure about carp but on my last trip to Simcoe I caught a nice sucker using a slab grabber...
Although carp do get caught through the ice it's not common.
Targeting them maybe a waste of time.
I would try a dough ball or some corn on the bottom and keep my fingers crossed.
Probably good to groundbait the hole often. Real easy to find the same spot every day! Look up bolt rig, self hooking is advantageous on those cold days.
Always had good luck attracting them in the summer with creamed corn.
I catch them all the time in the summer. They are very plentiful in this.small lake, however they seem to disappear in winter. I need to find where they go. Anybody know where they go?
Did you ever fish in deeper water of your lake for them? I heard they like warm water.
Maybe deep is a little warmer. I remember a coal generating station warm water output pipe in March on Lake Ontario a number of years, I saw lots of them
