For sure it is, and the picture say it all! Congrats
Congrats! I am envious on a number of levels.
Never hunted bunnies with a hound.
My gumdrops are well below the top of the snow here. Couldn't look for em if I wanted to.

Nice Hare congrats
Nothing nicer than the sound of a hound down in a cedar swamp. I miss those days.
Nice, congrats. Wow, Would need snowshoes around here. My dog can hardly get around now.
The sound of beagles working a rabbit is a thrill in itself but the feeling you get when they turn and start circling your way .......... priceless!
Been a while since I’ve had that feeling, still hear hounds on a regular bases but they and the game they are chasing are much bigger. Still a great feeling!
Spent many a winters day hunting hare over beagles mostly up in Caledon. That old farm got sold along with the privileged of hunting it.
Hard these days to keep a beagle just for bunny hunting, but if I were living rural I probably would get another one.Great way to spend a day as long as it does not end up in looking for your dog.
My buddies and I used to be into beagling seriously. Even field trialed them. Great fun in winter.
I suppose its been a while since you hunted with beagles. With the introduction of radio tracking collars and now gps systems, Its been twenty five plus years since we came home without beagles. Nowadays its just part of responsible hunting with dogs to have a tracking system.
The GPS trackers are a game changer. They take the mystery, guesswork and wasted time & effort out of it. Provide tremendous peace of mind.
Me too....blood lines to Round Lake Centre ( a stones throw from Paugh lake) . Love to hit the pickerel on Round lake. As fast as your line was out, it was coming back in. Caught some big Trout down deep there too. Was up there not long ago, took the Simpson Pit road from Wilno to Round lake, bought back a lot of memories.
Great work
Awesome, loving seeing the hound pics.
GPS are a game changer, We can hunt later in the day, In worse weather since dont need to listen for them, or follow tracks. I can pin point to the exact spot where they are.
Now if I can get a GPS on the coyotes, This would be a lot easier LOL

Sure beats sitting at home watching something on the tube... Great photo... The colors against the white back ground sure jump out... Very nice indeed...
congrats on the nice snow shoe and for getting out with the beagle! I am sure you made the beagles day to, lol
