I apologize if this has already been posted elsewhere, but I figured this was the appropriate place to sadly mention that forum member Terry M has passed away. A truly genuine guy, people and dogs are all better for having known him.

If it was covid, some studies are coming out that cbd will prevent you from needing a ventilator. Apparently it creates more oxygen in the lungs for you . If taken at the right time for 3 days it will supposedly keep you out of the hospital from covid.Quote:

Very sad news. Terry was a very nice person and had a great passion for the outdoors. I will miss seeing him out in the fields with his dogs this Fall. Rest in peace my friend.

He was just on here 3 days ago July 20 the same day he passed.
He was young only 60.

To Terry M's family, I offer my deepest condolences. We had chatted many times via PM about our Brittany Spaniels and of course various shotguns. In fact when he used to post "sweet gun alert" I would always check and years ago bought one over the phone based on his recommendations. May he RIP.

So sad to hear of Terry's passing. My deepest condolences to his family and his dogs. I have had the privilege of hunting with Terry and his Brittany for woodcock one fall. He mainly hunted for pheasant with his dogs and wanted to shoot a woodcock over his Brittany. Well it just so happened that his dog went on point in front of me and Terry was a ways off so I managed to keep the dog calm and steady so he could get over and shoot that woodcock........his smile never left his face that day.
He will be missed. RIP

60! Only 60. I am so mad for his family, what a young age to lose him. I just suddenly lost my dad a couple weeks ago and I'm mad and feeling ripped off. I know how they feel and it's awful. May he be in the company of many great dogs. My condolences to his family and friends.
Always good insights and advice. I hunted with a cocker spaniel and he certainly helped me out with great advice. Sixty is too young. My condolences to his family.

Folks thanks for the kind words at this very difficult time from his family and friends.
Terry was a very dear friend of mine who I hunted and fished with for over forty years. He was a very big part of my family and my life. We grew up together and my children considered him their Uncle Terry. He was truly a gentleman, a scholar and just an all round great guy with a very big heart. In tough times, he was always someone I could count on for sound sobering insight and direction.
Terry, another very close friend Mike and I, bought a hunt camp together years ago. We all said we should have burnt it down but we fixed up that mouse infested rotten shack and made it a very special place. We never got that many deer there but it was an annual week in November where we rekindled our friendships, retold old stories that got bigger every year, had lots of laughs and we solved the worlds problems.
Terry will be sadly missed and deer camp will never be the same. Rest in peace my good friend. Find us some good hunting and fishing spots on the other side. Till we meet again.

Condolences to you also Dave. I never met Terry in person but had many messages exchanged with him and enjoyed the conversations here. You could feel his passion for the outdoors and a few years ago was asking me for information regarding an elk hunt. I had posted about his passing on the Upland pages because I had missed THIS thread, posted a day earlier.
I am also 60 and have lost 2 dear friends very recently. One guy was 58 and the other was 53.
Gotta enjoy every day of our lives like it's the last one. I hope Terry is hunting in an awesome place now...

The old saying "Life is a journey and not a destination" really has sunk in over these last few days.
this is sad news indeed. I feel for the people who knew Terry off-site. I will miss his comments regardless if I agreed with them or not.

A great guy that was always willing to help new upland dog owners , remember my GSP breaking point and flushing a bird 50 yrds out providing no shot , I was a little upset lol. Terry was watching from the other side of the field as it happened. When we eventually meet up at the end of of the field , rather then critique what had just happened he simply praised my dog and offered the handler some solid advice that was well received .
Years later I found myself without a dog , Terry was one of a few guys that extended me an offer (through this forum) to hunt behind his dog... that's a true Gentleman .
