There was a sheep farmer friend who had two Pit Bulls trained to do that. Coyotes weren't long sucking them into a chase and the whole pack attacked from ambush and killed them both. It was furkin' nasty.
Pit bulls are not normally long distance runners, so an extended chase would put them at a severe disadvantage.Quote:

What I know about Pitbulls couldn't fill a thimble. I sure know about Coyotes,though. This occurred many years ago. I regarded it as a learning experience about the cunning,execution and brutal ferocity of the predator pack in dealing with threats. They make Pitbulls look like playful puppies.Quote:

Pit bull well built pit bull up against only 3 coyotes one coyote just got in the pits face bouncing around like look at me look at me
Mean while other two grabbed a back hip each. It was some thing like 60 stitches worth of damage to the pit
