Solo limit this morning

Well all my so called hunting partners were MIA this morning. All 3 slept in. I left their blinds in the truck, put out 7doz decoys and my blind and settled in.

Pair came in right at 730am, got both of them. Then at 8am 5 came in and I got 3 of them to finish off my limit.

Ha, No I'm meaner than that. Showed them all the pics of the geese after I limited then when they asked when I was hunting next i said tomorrow morning, But you guys can't get up.

Went with 4 different guys today, shot 30 ducks in about 30 minutes and watched couple thousand more for a few hours waiting on geese. See if they sleep in again.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8809376874.jpg

I scout for about 2hrs every night and ask every land owner that I see birds. Most people are happy to let us hunt their place. A lot of work but it pays off!

Congrats on a great morning hunt. But that is so boring! How about missing a few shots. Passing up for a better shot. Shooting before in proper range. Your missing out on all the emotions that go through your head when hunting alone and waiting all morning! Joking of course.

Lol I can call and shoot so much better when by myself, Not calling to shoot to too early, not taking empty hulls to the side of the head, ears ringing. Not sure why I even hunt with anyone else LOL

Oh ya its because setting up alone is a lot of work, plus one man limit can to filled pretty quick!

Another cracker of a field today. BIG cut corn field had them piling in. 6 guys, We got 26 geese and 4 ducks. Snows are a separate limit. You can shoot your dark geese limit and then shoot your snow goose limit. Nice hunt!

Your right! I'm an idiot haha seen the 3 snows tonight . Couldn't get permission for that field but got another one not far away with about 100 Canada's in it tonight. Huntin it in the morning. See how it goes.

Lots of birds around and great to see pictures of successful hunts.
It's not easy work but quite rewarding for those who are able to do it.
Our small group only have a single field to hunt and we are happy to get a few birds anytime! :)

Thanks guys been a helluva year so far.

Got tomorrow lined up, hunting a big flooded swamp for ducks, seen a ton land there last night. Got my waders ready, Never really done this before, Hope my gun doesn't go for a swim lol
