Karen took her Lab to the vet today, because she has been vomiting ( Second time in about a month).
Vet gave her a shot to settle her stomach, but she now has no appetite. Vet says there is a heart murmur, and her kidneys are failing .
Teja is at home resting, but has eaten and drank very little.
We do not think Teja is going to make it through the night.:sad:
Very sorry to hear Karen and Snowalker.
That is so rough on a family. My condolences and hopes for a better outcome.
Well Teja pass away this morning just after 2 am..
We will take her in for cremation this morning..

From someone who's been there too many times, my sincerest condolences.
She was my constant companion and friend. She was just a really "good dog" and nothing replaces that.

Ohhhh That is so sad, and I thought my dog was in trouble. I know the pain of losing a dog; prayers to both of you.
So sorry to hear that snowwalker, it never gets easier. They bring you more than just happiness when they are with you but a ton of pain when they're no longer with you... My sincere condolences.

People who haven't had pets just can't realize how hard it is to loose one. My condolences.
Sorry to hear , lost my girl in June due to kidney failure and it hurts . I can still see her in my mind patrolling the yard ..... RIP

sorry for your loss of a family member. I lost my 14 yr old cocker spaniel on Labour Day. It gets easier over time but never goes away as most of you know.

Sorry for your loss, Snowwalker, pets are heartbreak, but we're better for having them in our lives. I like to think they think so, too.
