With the weather forecasted today wasn't looking forward to a long drive for a short hunt. After reading Lor79 report thought I'd give the north another shot(no pun intended). Put Nova down first as usual and wasn't out of site of the vehicle before we were into birds. Multiple bird contact with heavy areas of splash had him wound up to 11. Took a little time to settle him down and then things came together. Was a flurry of activity where kind of lost count of birds in the bag and where I was. Reigned Nova in to figure out where the vehicle was and how many in the vest. So got back to the jeep and with 5 in the vest figure put Nova down and switch spots and brought mom out to play clean up. Had to break out the camera to extend the outing.
