Looking for anyone with info about Wolverine canoes

Greetings. I'm looking to speak to anyone with information about the Wolverine canoe company for a possible story or column for the magazine.

Information about the company is difficult to find, but according to what little information is available online, it operated in Welland in the early 1970s, Wawa in the 1980s and 90s, and finally Belle Valle in the mid 2000s. I've recently had one of these great fishing canoes restored, and would like to learn more about the company to share with our readers.
