The Village Idiot continues to be totally oblivious as to what's going on around him.

The premiers need more money for health Care on their Provinces...he says he doesn't have enough money to commit funding yet.

Premiers expressed disappointment Thursday after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau refused to accede to their demand for an immediate infusion of at least $28 billion more each year in annual federal transfers for health care.

“Unfortunately, despite the premiers’ unanimous demand, Justin Trudeau refused to commit to substantially increase health transfers. He said that it was premature because of the COVID-19 (pandemic) to have this discussion,” Legault said.

Yet I just watched him commit $15 Billion for climate change ...during a pandemic

And he's raising the Carbon tax $15 a ton....during a pandemic

Surely there is someone in the Liberal party that can pull him aside, slap him up the back side of the head and tell him to wake up.

No one give a rats azz about climate change right now and we sure don't need to charge small businessmen more to heat their companies this winter.

That’s a 40% increase over 9 years. Which demographics are hit the hardest by such taxes? Which demographics can only dream of EVs? Which demographics probably won’t be back to 2019 levels before 2030?

And some think of overly harsh on the well off, PS etc

JB... I don’t think many will disagree with you.Most would concur. I also know many people in the PS , who are not well off . To assume all PS workers are well off is not correct. Would this not be a good time, for a world wide discussion on how we treat the ‘working poor ? The great ‘reset ‘ ? Many people will have to give up their present lifestyle. Is there enough people willing to ‘ go for it ‘? Before it is forced on us by the IMF ?

It should go without saying many in PS will gross around the mean. In Ontario that’s around $45,000.

I have no issues with those that make in 60 to 80s those we can’t forget benefits which add 20-24%). And let’s not forget 90k puts a person private or public in the 10% club.

It’s all those is PS that make north of 75. I begin to seriously question. Especially when you look back over the last 30 years. When the working class no longer had jobs for life ( unless they wanted them), and get laid off all the time. And each time the vast majority take jobs that pay less. when we first began to realize loads of people were in trouble for retirement. Etc

None of us, can honestly say that “teacher” ( other than pension/job security), is in any different boat.

Fffs. My niece is an RN. She’s going to gross over 100k this year.... that’s just Fn stupid. I’m sorry, that’s just Fn stupid.

But she works long hours. Why? Well maybe if RNs and blah blah didn’t cost so much, and private was in better shape.

We could “afford” more, and she could see her kid more.
