Has too much time on their hands
Deer yarding activity this winter?
I'm seeing much less deer sign within the usual winter yards in my part of WMU 76. I'm hoping its a function of the relatively late and mild winter here, despite the deep snow we have. What's everyone else seeing?

Not a lot of snow in 55B - deer are still wandering around the bush, not yarded yet.

We got very little snow in 87 and 90 ... So far a really easy winter, fingers crossed it stays this way.

Hard ice crust here with foot of snow on top. Deer and turkeys keeping close to corn fields. Seen 20 deer there in the morning and 100 turkeys during the day. Pushed 5 coyotes out of there on Saturday too.
