Facebook calls on Canadian government to set social media rules
Holy Crap....FB is going to ask the Liberals what content they want banned from their social media platform.
Shades of China on the horizon.... 
Facebook says it would welcome increased regulation by the Canadian government, including rules for what kind of content should — or should not — be allowed on social media platforms.
In an interview with CBC News, Kevin Chan, global director and head of public policy for Facebook Canada, said Parliament should make clear what kinds of content aren't allowed.
"On this question of content regulation, we think that having platforms make decisions about all these things and in an uncoordinated fashion with different platforms having different postures, we think that's not sustainable," he explained. "So we think that public rules by Parliament would help clarify these things and obviously apply across the internet."
Chan said Facebook also goes further and removes content that isn't illegal in Canada such as posts involving nudity, bullying or harassment. While Chan said Facebook has a sophisticated system in place, he said it would welcome a move by Parliament to help draw the line between prohibited and allowable content.

On the one side we have big tech and government (and Wall Street billionaires) control over people being stepped up.
On the other side we have movements of people, en mass, that are finding their collective actions can make a difference (Whatsapp privacy invasion revolt, Gamestop, COVID rule protests).
It's like the world is being setup for one big civil war.

When Pierre P. called them out on it and said it that some Liberal's want internet censorship you could hear atleast one saying "hear, hear" in favour of that censorship and control ... but remember who is in power...

I would argue that....
1) The goat or cow is still alive
2) more can be made
3) they get fat and full and stop eating atleast for a bit.
I would say it is more like having wolves to guard the goats...
1) Goats are dead
2) Can't make more cheese, goats are being digested
3) once goats are gone they look for more to eat

Actually if you are logged into Google and you are talking on the phone if you go look up what you are talking about Google will bring it up before you are done typing.
