Spinner bait replacement skirts
Any body know the best place to get replacement spinner bait skirts?
Most are probably Strike King and are about 30 years old. Skirts are rotten on a lot of them now but they are good lures so I don't want to throw them out. I also don't want to spend as much to replace the skirts as buying new lures.
Appreciate any suggestions.

I've used luremaking.com for a lot of my jigs and lure components. They're in Hepworth and I've always found them to be great to deal with.

Has too much time on their hands
When the rubber skirt dies I just use some dollar store feathers and some thread and hard (can be clear, glow in the dark and bright colours) fingernail polish, all from the dollar store.
P.S.
For the feathers the craft bags aren't necessarily the best way, feather boas, masks, costumes and decorations may have feathers better suited than the craft section. I have used hair (Halloween wigs, toys, brushed cat or dog) and tinsel sometimes too.
Like this or marabough or hair jigs to see what they are doing.

Tromblys and Elwood Epps in Orillia sell replacement skirts too.
