It is the cause of the majority of the crime for sure and as usual FMC comes back and makes a completely irrelevant comparison devoid of context or evidence.

However as a total including ALL tax "revenue" the government takes in he is right, the difference is in the income obviously. The last comparison I saw by county shows that Toronto's average income was much higher than most counties and there were 8 or 10 counties that the average was doubled. I found a 20 year old chart that showed the average incomes and I will put the top and bottom 3 there. Since the population is many times that of the bottom counties and the incomes are doubled under the tax load (not including the new carbon taxes etc.) then with the over 50% taxation at the top end and likely minimal taxes at the bottom what he said is actually true so I thought I would point it out, Toronto is paying more out in taxes, I wonder if/when the clock will be right again. Now these numbers are 20 years old and have likely gone up atleast 20 or 30% (remember they are averages) so the Halton and York average is in the high income bracket!
