It’s getting crazy so I could go on gun post post up a non restricted long gun at reasonable price. Maybe get someone to send photo of a rpal. Then use that photo and buy a restricted handgun.

... while with the extra ID sent ,as per the requirements, use it to create a bank account, a mortgage, credit cards and possibly access the victims accounts etc..

If this goes in place it pretty much guarantees that private sales will be reduced unless in person or related, the sales that move to stores will now be in a "sort of" registry and an actual registry if that store closes since on closing all records will need to be given to the registrar (with all firearm id of course). Was that the intent? To make personal sales unattractive and even punitive?
