    Default Whitefish hitting...

Made a decision to go ice-fishing this past week. Could`nt of picked a better day weatherwize.
Pick up my Timy’s and drove down to the lake. Got everything in the water and set up by 7:10am.
Awhile later, we got into a very heavy “fish on” a “tip-up” morning.
After what seemed like an eternity of marked fished (From 07:00am to 10:30am consecutive) , the action slowed right down.
We handled seven (7) “whities” and one being a good size monster. We did loose what looked to us to be a big-laker in the 30" range.
But, as quickly as things can happen, it was off.
All in All, One of my most memorable ice fishing days..

Awesome work totally agree when they are on they are on. Some years they work like a clock won't bite before a certain time or shut of off at a different time.

Sometimes it doesn't matter and they will be around all day.

My last 2 whittie Trips were stinky as a skunk lol. Hopefully this warm weather brings them in to where I fish.

Sounds like you had a great day.
