Wow! They caught some more traffickers.
“Ontario Provincial Police said Thursday the undercover operation dubbed "Project Weaver" has led to 10 arrests and 268 offences, as well as the seizure of two grenade launchers, dozens of grenades, firearms and an assortment of narcotics, including cocaine and illegal cannabis.”
An impressive assortment of items, most interesting was the two grenade launchers and the dozens of grenades. Wonder how many of these two items have found there was into this country, while they have been picking their noses attempting to ban assault style looking firearms? I would image it will be something of an eye opener to the anti-gun crowd, if these babies start causing collateral damage in public areas. Maybe they will finally come to their senses that it is not the firearms of the law abiding citizen, that are problematic. .

Great to see these type of stories. I saw at least 5 articles in the past few days of Police busting up operations and finding extensive arms caches. It shows the public that the problem is Illegal Guns in the hands of Criminals.....not in the hands of Licensed Gun owners.

The anti's aren't intelligent enough to decipher the difference.

Two busts in just a couple weeks! Wonder what might be coming? Naw, this couldn't have anything to do with an election.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

No that would be ridiculous. But political parties and their corresponding news agencies will often grandstand using (or twisting) these opportunities to their advantage. How many illegal gun busts went silent shortly after Trudeau announced his gun ban and convinced Canadians that the gun crime problem lied squarely on the shoulders of legal gun owners.

I posted a link in the other trafficking thread about this the other day
There is more if it out there with the amount of money spent on drugs the artillery is peanuts. They have found rocket launchers in the past .
I don't see it getting any better from this gun ban that only affects the law abiding citizens .
We should be more open with them not scared of the guns.

Fisher, definitely not saying all officers are Liberals although a few of them stationed around here tell of third party propaganda pointing them to vote that direction. I do however believe that the Govt can arrange a "push" if you will and as stated above the media does not help.
