Bear size vs scat
Would this match a bear around 7 feet tall? It's about a 500ml water bottle in diameter

I had a big bear last week showing up and camping my bait. I have not seen him on the cam in a few days but new big piles of crap keep showing up near my bait.
Have a few smaller bears https://vimeo.com/547002774?ref=em-share but they can't be leaving these landmines.

Whatever left the pile in the picture is definitely a shooter. When you say 7 feet do you mean standing height (nose to ground) or do you mean nose to tail. It's probably a 7 footer if you mean nose to ground when standing. 7 feet nose to tail while not impossible is an exceptionally large black bear and would be pretty rare for Ontario.
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I'm pretty sure the stool to body mass ratio thing is a farce. I once had a buddy who got bunged-up on a 10 day canoe trip from eating trail mix, chicken weiners, and Kraft dinner. He was a small-framed dude, maybe a buck ten soaking wet. We were on the way home in the truck and he ate some old white bread with a cold can of Scarios. Another ten kilometers down the road and he started to sweat. Then came the sqeals and pinging sounds. He screamed "pull over....NOW!!!". What fell out of him was not of this world. An honest to god nerf football stool, easily as big around as a loaf of rye bread. The poor kid did this alone, without a breathing coach. We all stared in silence for we new we were in the presence of a greater man.....
