COVID Strikes Again

So first strike was a 7 day ice fishing trip by snowmobile based out of a fly in lodge in Wabakimi that got canned due to the post new years stay at home.

Now spring bear hunt booked at same lodge for May 27th to June 03 is the second casualty.

Looks like I will be setting up in my normal WMU stomping grounds this weekend. Was looking forward to someone else doing the heavy lifting - ah well on the bright side at least I still have options.

Yep, just scrapped my camping plans at Bon Echo PP next long weekend.
No matter, I surely will make my own in defiance of the stupidity emanating out of Queens park.

As Frank said I do. Was just trying to take a holiday this year. Same as the fishing. Actually had my best year ever ice fishing this year doing my own thing.

I will be getting the bait out this weekend where I normally hunt bear. Just no holiday and the walleye fishing won't be as good.

I feel your pain. We have typically been up to our hunt camp in the Burks Falls area cleaning trails a few times by now, to date not one trip. What a sheet show Covid has caused all of us.
I can't imagine the financial stress that Covid has had on Outfitters.
