Did some shooting
So buddy brought out his 14 year old girl today. They live in town he’s helped me when I’m dropping trees good guy
The girl is in cadets that’s been shut down for a year so they came out with pellet gun I set her up with targets 20yd told her right off the bat if she points the gun any where’s near me I would likely swear at her. If she did it twice we call it a day
she was a little shaky at first but she was hitting bulls eye after few shots. Then picking off pop cans
So I had 10/22 put 5 rounds in clip. Racked it handed it to her showed her how to take safety off. 3 misses at 25yd hmm. 4 and fifth each took a pop can. Ok let’s move to fifty yd
Loaded clip for her racked it for her 10 cans fell
Move to 75 yd. told her she can load her own mag. Put 3 rd in for her she did remaining 7. Fast learner
10 cans fell
Move 100yd
She reloaded two mags
Sat down 10 cans fell shot a fire extinguisher 10 pings
Set up cans and 10 spray can plastic tops.
2 mags all hits. She’s a natural
Have a small propane tank hanging been 22-250 several holes she likes the bell gong it makes.
100yd 50rd 50 pings not bad
She’s little thing maybe 70 pound bad guys in TO better watch out for this one

Great stuff!
Don't know why but most girls I have taken shooting are crack shots! Made me nervous to go after to make sure I shot as good as they did!!
With my own gun! Bah

Has too much time on their hands
When I did basic training they told us when we started that the best shooter was likely to be a girl because every teenage boy thinks he can shoot and girls tended to be totally new to shooting, which meant they paid better attention to instruction.

This is exactly what I have been telling parents and couples getting their kids or themselves into shooting for years. The guys have watched so many movies or TV shows they tend to think they know all there is to be able to shoot well. Also, I think even the wimpiest guy out there musters up some macho when it comes to shooting. Macho doesn't cut it.

Yep, less ego involved.
I started out shooting at around 5, I already have a rifle for my daughter but she is too rammy right now for shooting, hopefully next summer.

No kidding eh!!....I swear it was just last year she was sitting on Marks lap at breakfast !!
Yes in all my years on various ranges, the women tended to be the best shooters, at least when it came to paper targets.
