This is rich...he was arrested to prevent him from continuation of an offence....his lawyer will have a field day with that in court HaHa.

"Mr. Bernier knew of the health orders and has already received a ticket. The continuation of the offence of violating the current public health orders in Manitoba has resulted in his arrest," said Manitoba RCMP spokesperson Tara Seel.

"He is charged under the Public Health Act with Contravening a Provision of the Act for assembling in a gathering at an outdoor public place and for failing to self-isolate in accordance with the Order upon arrival in Manitoba. Under the Provincial Offences Act of Manitoba, he was arrested to prevent the continuation of an offence."

I don't think Pierre gives O'toole a thumbs up, only for the cameras.
Otoole said he'd repeal all new liberal gun legislation, he said he'd repeal the carbon tax. How's that shaping up?

Do you actually believe O'toole will repeal all firearms legislation?..LOL

Otoole has killed his credibility with his 360 on the carbon tax. Many who supported him, no longer trust him.
When Max exited the Conservative party, he took the values and leadership of the Conservatives with him.

Good god, that waste of skin he should be removed from office for those actions alone. My what our country has sunk too, to elect someone as inept and incompetent as that fool to be the pm of our country it speaks volumes of just how many screwed up people we have in this country to vote a loser of his statue into office. Poor Canada.

Granted he has an up hill build to give his party enough prominence to garner votes. Setting himself up as a law breaking revolutionary, goes to character and may not be the best approach.

What politician hasn't broken or bent the laws? They've all been caught travelling, no masks/social distancing, etc. Do you think he would have been arrested if he was on his way to a BLM protest? I think not.

I am not going to equate Max to Mandela, Ghandi or King but how did those men bring about change in their societies? Through civil disobedience, peacefully breaking unjust laws and suffering the consequences.

Depending on how this plays out, he probably has my vote. Before someone goes on about splitting the conservative vote, there is always a reason to not split the conservative vote. Right now it is to get rid of Trudeau ok, lets say we get a Conservative minority, then it will be don't split the vote we need a majority. After a majority it will be, don't split the vote we need to keep the majority. When does the time come to make the change?
    Very well said.

    Have a better suggestion?
