    Default Hunting camp?

    Hi all,

I've been looking for land and I guess because of covid the prices have gotten out of control.

I was told people split on hunting camps and was wondering if anyone knows how tomgo about finding one?

I'm in Ontario, near Ottawa if that helps...

    Thanks in advance

Occasionally you will see the odd camp looking for new members.

See many camps forsale every year. Keep an eye on kijiji, Facebook. You will find one. Lots of guys getting too old for the up keep and such.

While you look for private land, an Ihunter app could come in very handy - has ON public land paid subscription (a lot more advanced the CLUPA) for about $40, but it's well worth it imo

If you're looking to just purchase a hunting property there are a few different websites like "Land watch ontario".

Once this Covid stuff is over there is a group of us from the Ottawa area that occasionally meet in Kemptville for breakfast and some of us go hunting afterwards. Some also go hunting for Ducks and geese as well.

Once the restrictions are lifted myself or someone else will post a time and date.

Great place to meet others from the area.
