I've only been out a couple of times. The fishing has been good. The water flow seems to be down and is very clear. Top fly so far, simple, sparse, small clouser. This one responsible for approximately 50 smallies and counting.

Yeah waters low around me as well. Was swinging tube flies purple or white and did ok with a mouse on top as evening approached. Nice looking pattern.

Yesterday I hit one of my favorite local rivers for the first time this year and found it over grown with filamentous algae. The smaller bass were still there, could not hook up with any of the larger ones. I had to keep the fly high in the water and moving and still it was constantly fowled. The rivers seem to have different dynamics from year to year, so I'm hoping this is a one-off.

Currently my favourite pattern. Master Splinter. It’s a riff on the Gurgler. Rabbit strip and dollar store foam.
