When will my PAL come in?
I sent my application in February, It shows on my credit card that the payment went through in mid May. How long does it usually take after the payment has gone through?

when i first got mine it took a while. about 6 or 7 months i believe. they are quick to take money, sending what you want back out takes them a little time though lol
although when i put mine in and i called they said they were backlogged and didnt have many people working at the time.
my best advice is to call them and ask if they need anything else etc.
seemed to speed my application up.

As Bowjob said, call them and check on “status of your application”.

Some questions:
Is this your first application? It takes longer than a renewal and COVID is further slowing the process.
Did you answer "yes" to any of the questions? The CFO will be in touch for further information.
Have your references been called? This is usually an indication your application is being processed.
I'd suggest calling them to find out the status of your application.

PAL/RPAL application renewal submitted by snail mail takes months. Applications done by internet takes a matter of days.

True for renewal but new applicants usually have longer waits.

Yup this is my first application. I did the course 10 years ago but only used archery as I didn't even see a point with all the stringent firearms regulations when hunting in SW ontario.
