    terrible around the Sudbury area. Caterpillars took most of the plants.

    I’ll second that. The caterpillars destroyed a good amount.

    Up here around Kirkland Lake, the frost killed the blossoms in the spring Its hard to find a single berry, unless you find a patch that didn't get hit to hard with the frost, but those are rare.

    The bears are hitting the oat fields hard and they are even eating the canola this year. Haven't seen them hitting the crops this early since the last blueberry crop failure 3 years ago.

    I visited my parents in Val Caron last week and there wasn't any in the usual spots. My dad did pick about half of a 4 litre basket one morning but he had to walk quite a bit.

    BTW, north of Ontario is Hudsons Bay and the berries are really poor there. But I know what you meant.
