PB Walleye
Got a call from the taxi and my reproduction walleye is ready for pickup. Caught on Nipissing through the ice on the closer this year. 28.25 inches, 17 inch girth, 10.3 lbs. Going on the wall at the cottage 6 minutes from where it was caught.

Great job. One of the better reproductions I’ve seen…

I had a replica made of a walleye I caught on the Bay of Quinte years ago - it was 14 lbs - it's on the wall of my den and every time I look at it I am reminded of the trip - it was on Nov 22 (I don't remember the year anymore) and it was cold - had to put salt on the boat ramp because it was icy - snow squalls on and off all day long - caught 3 that day that were about the same size - had to release one of them because of the limit on the big ones - traveled through a snow storm on the way back to Pa. - snowed hard until we got to Syracuse NY - you will always remember the day you caught that fish when you look at it - nice fish and nice memories
