Trudeau hints at another election in 18 months if denied majority

Later in the debate, moderator Pierre Bruneau asked party leaders if they would work in a coalition government in the case where the election leads to another minority government.

Most skirted the question, except Trudeau, who threatened that it was possible that Canada be back in an election in 18 months if another minority government is elected on September 20.

During a press conference after the debate, Trudeau specified that he was referring to the notion that 18 months is the average historic lifespan of a minority government in Canada.

If he doesn't lose outright to a Con majority (doubtful at this point),the most he can expect is a Lib minority (again). I think that either way,he'll get the boot. He's completely destroyed the LPOC "brand" and the only way they can recover anything is with him GONE along with his cadre of misfits. Interesting times ahead for sure.

That is what people suspect but cannot be proved. Generally a file is sealed for only a few reasons and they are not usually good.

I read quite a few articles of some of the students and pretty much all said he was not a very good teacher.

How on earth is he going to call an election in another 18 months if he is not Prime Minister? Call for a vote of non-confidence against the governing party? Currently his poll %ages are low but steady, and as well his popularity is taking a dive. I'm not so sure we are not likely to see a majority government come September 21, and I have an awful feeling it is not likely to be Liberal. Nor do I suspect the Liberal really want to govern, considering the hole they have put this country in. JT did say his reason for calling this current election was to allow the people to have their say in the future of this country. He maybe in for quite awakening.
