    Default Tuesday Morning Doe

Perfect morning conditions yesterday. Clear sky, lower humidity, and low winds in my favour. 7:45am, a group of 3 came up the ridge in the woods, and she stopped broadside 25 yards from my stand. The Excalibur did the job. Nice doe, about 125 pounds.

Day before a group of 4 emerged around the same time, but it was very windy and they were skittish with all the limbs blowing -- traveling much faster and did not stop at all. They took a different line about 65 yards from my stand and didn't come into range. I tried a doe bleat to stop and maybe turn them, but they just kept going.

No bucks on the cameras yet.
