Trudeau calls for clearing cyberspace of hate, disinformation

I guess we should prepare ourselves for more Government control over the internet...soon we'll be living in a country like China with their state-run 'Internet'...sure smacks of the communism that the Village Idiot harkens too so fondly.

Hate speech, disinformation, and online extremism can't be allowed to prevent people from enjoying the freedom that cyberspace offers, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday at an international discussion on the internet.

"There is no doubt: the digital space has incredible power for good. But from disinformation on vaccines to online extremism, we’ve also seen the threat it can pose to our democratic values, systems and our citizens," Trudeau said via video link from Ottawa to the Paris Peace Forum.

"We can't allow the benefits of the digital space to come at the expense of people's rights or safety."

Rather hypocritical after 2 yrs of "disinformation" on all things pandemic being feed to us from the PMO.

Vaccines mandates are the biggest present threats to our "democratic values, systems and our citizens" .

His goal...implement Government Censorship, pure and simple....

Pretty much what you would expect of the liar, ethics violator, tyrant lover. When you read books like "Ordinary Men" or "Gulag Archipelago" you see those that will side with the tyrant and dictator almost without question or regard for morals or ethics and you can see the same type in todays Liberals.
