Like the internet dress thing years ago, you either see gold and white...or black and blue. Everyone has their perspectives.

I just find it peculiar that he wants to end the war on Russias terms. Not much on Russian concessions being mentioned by the trump administration. Many insults and demands and blame against the Ukrainian side. I mean to say, that it comes off bizarrely pro Russian.

Quite the change in foreign policy since 1945. Quite literally going against the grain of the American norm.

Negotiation is most likely the only way to resolve this. But surely even a negotiation shouldn't begin without testing the waters on where everyone stands. And even so, should concessions be made willingly and publicly prior to any real talks.

I don't see much propaganda against the trump administration. There's not much need. One can simply just listen to him and his followers. They say enough about the situation, maybe too much.

We knew 6 months in that the z man tossed out any peace deals with the backing of the west. It was putin who wanted negotiations hence the military operation that failed. . Then when it was time for talks Russia was not included so who were they negotiating with? The west negotiating with Ukraine? What will give you me next ? Again I said that long ago who they negotiating with ?

It will end on Russias terms nothing has changed I also noted that last year . Zelensky isn't all innocent like they make him out to be. How many times you going to poke the bear without a reaction and then claim innocents and Russia is the only 1 at fault. How many were kill under the Ukrainian regime prior to so the so called aggressive invasion. Zelensky him self ordered drone stikes prior to the military operation in side of Ukraine killing their own people.

And we wonder why they had a majority vote to become part of Russia in certain areas. Not because they had a gun to heads like many think.

Ps they all gotta make trump the bad man heck I hear it almost daily for the last decade almost. What's happening in Ukraine lately media is all wrapped up in trump while Russia is only advancing on their trenches.

Russia has already filled most of the negotiating by actions of Ukraine and the west. What's left no nato . Bring peace to all living in Ukraine. Fix the neo nazi or far right extremists. Yeah they were going to be a problem even stated by the guardian in 2014 .

Putin is no peach himself. His idea of negotiation is capitulation. A tough pill to swallow for any nation anywhere. The Russian regimes throughout history have not had much regard for the life of their citizenry. They view them as dispensable.

Imagine how quickly this war would end if Putin pulled out his army and returned the land he stole. That's it, that's all it takes.

The idea of the population in occupied Ukraine "honestly" voting to be annexed is laughable at best. To "believe" that those elections were held in a professional manner with zero intimidation is a fantasy. Almost as much of a fantasy as believing that Russia is a democratic nation. Even so, nothing gives Russia the right to invade in the first place. They set it up. They sent in people to destabilize the situation. Which is what they were always trying to do and continue trying in other neighbouring countries. It's their precursor to war. Not much different to when Hitler invaded Poland and blamed the Poles for firing the first shot.

Trump has an opportunity to be on the right side of history. So far he is ignoring that path. He has just recently paused all aid to ukraine. That action would make sense if Ukraine was the aggressor in this war, and attacked Russia. But all ukraine is trying to do is defend their lands from the invading forces of Russia. Defend their people, and defend their sovereignty.

It again sure looks like Trump is aligning with the Russian narrative. Trumps actions do give off a feeling that he can't be trusted by his allies. There's an aura of chaos around his presidency.

These are precarious times.

Again the Ukrainian regime was killing their own people prior. So they were not defending its people they were killing them. To bad many feel safer behind the Russian lines and are thankful they are there..

When they have training camps run by far right extremists with an obsession of killing Russians there might be a problem within. If they won't fix the problems within by diplomatic means what other choices do they have ?

If we killed and had training camps killing Americans terrorizing them 1000% they would invave us if we didn't stop killing them.
Those Russian Ukrainian citizens have been their for generations should they just all go to Russia to feel safe ? What about the innocent Ukrainian lives that were taken in the conflicts?

Ukraine was the most corrupt part of eroupe fix it within or someone else will.
I see both side and they both did wrong yeah it was wrong to invade but talking did nothing.

Birdbuff. Good last post. I could not have put it down better so thanks for taking the time. I read it a few times and every time it brought me back to what I was following all day and realizing that you can also do much the same thing by destroying the other countries economy. We are living in perilous times and it is becoming world wide. I am very afraid for the generations who are coming after us and should be able to enjoy the beautiful place most of us have lived in all our lives. Most of us have worked very hard to make and keep it a great place and now a few "evil despots" want to destroy it.

22 democrats just released the same script showing the same things . Propaganda at its finest

The same scripts were made after Zelenskys oval office as that's exactly what they did. Same lines same stories by the same people . They are good at that theve all been reading the same script for the last 5 years. Including overseas media.

Now that trumps in office the blame can go to him . The father inlaw was telling me yesterday that trumps siding Russia and if Ukraine loosing is because of of trump as Ukraine is winning and would win if the war continues. To bad the people he follows runs the with the scripts.

I watched trump talk last night without using a mainstream source.
He is for America first not anti Ukrainian and a putin lover. Unfortunately some who are lagging behind is going to feel the pinch Including Canadians.
The democrats really showed how ignorant they really are.

It's a shame we have even let it go this far.

Let's not glaze over what's right and what's wrong.

According to the UN charter, Russia is wrong. After the Second World War most countries got on board with the UN and its charter, to prevent future conflicts. The free and democratic world was saved from further chaos thanks to the values of the allies and like minded nations.

Now what? Are we to abandon those values?

If it comes down to every man for himself, the sharks will feast until the waters are empty and only sharks exist. Then what? Sharks will be forced to eat sharks. Then let the fireworks fly.

Funny how that the kurks region will be taken back with the excuss of trump. In reality by the end of January they had taken back over 63 %. But now because of trump they are loosing as they just split and surrounded the last stronghold.

Just goes to show how the Ukrainian regime is so reliant on America.

They are about to loose their bargaining chips so it's just normal to blame President trump.

Part of What blew the oval office meeting out of proportion is when Zelensky lied about just picking up unwilling Ukrainians off the streets to be sent of off too war. There are dozens of clips that show otherwise. One while walking his dog picked up dragged into a van and drove away leaving the dog behind.
Young Men pleading for their lives kicking and screaming as they are dragged off and send into the meat grinder. They don't wanna talk about that tho.

Another issue is the same people running off scripts are also the same people who is pushing the propaganda lines that Russia will keep heading east. Totally propaganda. Just running it out their mouths to keep it going without any facts backing it up. Pire propaganda at its finest.

Ps if eroupe wants to destroy Russia let it have at it they too will end in the same faith as Ukrainians. But that is what they want as they can't let Russia Winn. That's the line they have pushed for the last 3 years. Russia will loose at all cost. So what's the cost ? They will print almost another trillion dollars for their war efforts and keep it going . Destroying their own in rhe meantime.
