    VPA 3 blade heads are probably one of the few that would be considered efficient for trad archery since it's still a cut on contact head and some of them have a really nice small blade angle. I just chose Magnus stingers for my longbow because they're fool proof to sharpen and time tested.

    I have been using 4 blade slick tricks for a few years now out of my crossbow. They have been working really well for me.

    Have had nothing but passthroughs and buried in the dirt on the other side with 3 blade broadheads. Don't see a reason to switch, but I would think a 4 blade would do just as well on today's high powered crossbows/compounds.
