Set my first line down at 7:30 this morning.... Lost a good fish and a shaker then landed 5 others, biggest 4lbs...All were left to grow bigger

Average salmon would depend on the location and time of year, but 30lbs are not uncommon. My personal best was in early October, flatlining off the credit and managed a 36lber..
Right now I am catching lots of small fish, 1-5 lb fish.... soon my location will bring in the big boys and then the average would be high teens low 20's....

I was deeper for the most part, 45-60 ft down
