Very cool, don't think I have ever seen one. I have noticed less toads this year. Generally when I mow my lawn I see toads everywhere.

It's not easy being green. Cute little guy though.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

I'm always amazed( annoyed) at what names have been chosen for creatures. He looks green not grey and that red - bellied sapsucker that has a red HEAD and pink belly. and many more that don't fit their name. Makes identification difficult.

Ten or 15 years ago my youngest son used to catch them in the fall and than set them up in insulated coolers in the garage to hibernate for the winter and then let them go in the spring.
