Default Quantity Self-Tanned on Year End report

On the year end report the last column is 'Quantity Self-Tanned'.

What happens if I add a number to this column?

I assume if I enter a number I would be charged a royalty for the fur, but then I am allowed to sell the fur privately plus this fur gets removed from the Fur on Hand count. Correct?

I'm not sure about paying the royalty but you are correct that you can keep or sell a pelt that you caught and tanned under your trapper's license and that by reporting it on your end of season report Column 5 means that you do not include it under Column 3 or 4 since it is not considered a pelt anymore.
