I know where the money will come from . Justlied will print more, budgets will balance themselves remember he said so. Inflation at a 40yr high what a few extra dollars printed. If he keeps running this country into the ground we will be like 1923 Germany where a trillion marks equaled a US dollar. Banning gun Trudeau is definitely going to ban even more if he is reelected, that's a given, death by a thousands cuts. The Liberals have never been shy of admitting they want to ban all guns. Allan Rock actually stated that.

It’s getting to the point where political parties are quite detached from the people. I’d like to see big/key national issues put to a vote for the people to decide. Political parties of all stripes are not to be trusted.

We’re all to blame. For years the government and media has played into the evilness of guns (while mankind is non culpable). This inanimate object is obviously the problem. So the general public believes in it.

Where have all these outdoor recreational shooting/hunting societies been for years? Where is our educational platform to reach the general population?

We are here because we did little to nothing to change the opinion of people. We did not educate them. We do very little to reach out to them. Now we sit here in our private clubs and we stew.

This of course does not pertain to everyone. Enough members on here have reached out to many non hunters to share with them the experience first hand.

Even now, The FA does not apply to "the state" or it's agents.

Yup. An OFAH member for over 20 years.

This doesn’t change the fact that we are playing defence. If we are not being shown in a positive light on msm we are not reaching the general population.

With all due respect; I’m a member of every one of these groups and some for a very long time.
I’m sure some are working behind the scenes on a political level. But this isn’t sufficient anymore.
IMO status quo isn’t working!
They all seem good at preaching the choir about our fight and collecting money from their members to fight these injustices.
I get hundred of emails from these groups explaining to me how hard this fight is and more money is needed to accomplish that so please donate more.
What I don’t see is anyone of these groups reaching out to the general population and explaining the facts and asking for their support.
Why isn’t there any ad’s coming out rebutting the Liberals false claims.
IMO we aren’t getting to the voting public which is where we need to be.
The antis are better organized than we are.
Mind you they get exposure from the Liberal paid media to spread their lies which we don’t.
We need to change how we represent ourselves or we will lose everything.

I must agree. It starts with supporting these groups and I’m glad to see you do - because most gun owners don’t.

Instead of 4-5 smaller groups I wish we had one strong group to be a more effective communicator.
