Too funny.. we are leaving this morning for Marten River Provincial Park as well. We have never been there before. We are there for just 2 nights to check it out. If we like it we'll come back down the road with the boat to get in a little fishing. I'll reply with some feedback on the Park in a few days.

We spent Wednesday and Thursday night's at Marten River PP. We had a decent, fairly private site. The Park was not very busy. It rained a fair bit so we didn't see as much of the Park as we would have liked. I did not bring the boat for this one. We were basically there to meet up and visit with two friends and their wives. They brought their kayaks so the 3 guys did manage to get out fishing for a few hours on Thursday morning. My first time in a kayak ! No fish for me, my one Buddy caught and released a few nice pike. We did not travel to far to fish, we stayed very close to the camp ground. If we go back I would definitely bring a boat. It looked like there was a lot of good water to fish. The only negative for us was traffic noise from Highway 11. It was right there and fairly noisy. All Park Staff were great. We did have a fun time.

Thanks. We were camping on crown land. 1st few nights just nature. Thursday neighbors moved in but were great people. As we were tenting we left Sunday as bugging out in the rain sucks. Super time.Attachment 4385120220824_115953.jpg
