Fall season tags??
Hey Folks,
Trying to get ahead of the season...Have my waterfowl stamp already, but trying to find the fall turkey season tags to buy online....Not coming up as available in my account or my son's...Am I rushing the season as usual? Anyone know when they become available...
Thanks in advance,
TurkeyJohn

Besides more funds is there any logical reason why a Turkey license can’t be good for a year?? If I buy a spring tag why not make it good for the fall as well if I haven’t filled it. Would require some lobbying but makes logical sense?

I’ve been saying this for a long time. But what makes sense to us doesn’t to them. The only reason they don’t do this is because of money plane and simple, it forces you to buy another tag.

What they could do is if you didn’t fill your tag, give you a fall tag at a reduced cost. I would think that is fair

what i think is fair, is if you have a tag left in spring it should be good for the fall, only it becomes an any bird tag. you don't pay more for a waterfowl license when you hunt geese out side of the traditional season, early (September) and late (February)
