Firearm camo wraps?
Wondering if anyone uses camo wraps on their firearms? Something along the lines of the ghille suit stringy wrap?
Seeing as im in the bush and close to the game im gunna shoot im thinking about buying a simple ghille wrap for my shotgun. Guessing it would be good for turkey as well. Only downside i can see is if its not set up properly the strings could get into the action or maybe blocking your scope view? Insight anyone?

I don't have one but I don't really think it is needed..... Move slow and you can win regardless of firearm colour

Very true Frank regarding slow and easy pace.
I have watched some you tube videos of guys wearing ghille suits while turkey hunting and they blend into the surroundings better than any camo I have used.

Not real needed other than some think it looks cool. The animals will see you first not the gun

Generally, the gun is pointing at the animal, and IF and WHEN the animal looks at you,it will see the SMALLEST shape of the gun anyway..............

I see what you guys are saying, makes sense. But my thinking is if I'm in my blind (burlap wrapped around trees(pic attached) my biggest issue is deer can come from my right my left or infront of me. Biggest issue is getting my gun up and around when deer are at max 40 yards away from me. Thinking the ghille wrap might conceal the gun movement while I'm trying to shoulder?
Link attached for the wrap i was looking into.

I tried different ways to cammo the gun and/or barrel and found it annoying to shoot with plus it hung up on stuff. Most of my barrels are flat black same for the stock or the stock is cammo and I painted the barrel a flat biege/brown.

Painting your firearms is surprisingly easy and effective.

Not entirely true. They see the movement, movement is me swinging my gun around to position to shoulder and shoot. So I guess you are right in a way. Deer season my shotgun is me basically lol.

Don't wrap your gun, there is no need. Your gun barrel is black I'm guessing with a wooden stock, which is forest colours anyways. Slow moving and knowing when to move is the key.
