Both me and Mrs.T are triple vaxxed and waiting for Flu shots. Honestly,I'm done worrying about it.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I know about Shingles and still have to get it done (been saying that for 3 years now), but I have not heard of pneumonia shots. Is this another thing old people have to get? I thought these were suppose to become my Golden years seems to me I was told a bunch of crap.

    I'm diabetic
    need Shingles vaccine
    Covid vaccine
    Flu vaccine

Exactly, it's not just COVID; every virus is super-charged. My family has never been so sick as we have this year. We've had COVID, strange, hybridized flu and colds that are aggressive and don't abate, Hand-Foot-And-Mouth, bronchitis, and now I hear RSV (another respiratory illness) is on the rise in North America. Along with Tylenol and Aspirin shortages, apparently amoxicillin is also hard to find at this time. I've done my due diligence in getting vaccinated and stopping the spread over the past two+ years, but I'm tired of living in fear. I'm optimistic that 2023 will be better for everyone.

Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

so this year your household has been sick, what's changed from other years?
only people I know who are getting sick are the ones who have been diligent in getting the vax.
It truly is surprising that more people haven't sat back and wondered what has changed in their lives that's causing a sudden spike in poor health over years in the past

It seems the people I know that have been the sickest in the last 12 months are the people that are vaccinated for corvid. Not a scientific study but its what I'm seeing at a alarming rate in my circle of family, friends and co workers. Many others I have spoken to are seeing similar.

Our youngest started daycare. It takes time to get their little selves used to everyday germs we're typically exposed to on the reg. Then try not catching your kids' souped-up cooties when they're clinging to you for comfort and you're rundown from being up with them in the night, for multiple nights. It's not a vaxx/no vaxx thing; it's a parents with young children adjusting to germs thing. But then again we're all readjusting to germs again, right? Takes time.

Might be an interesting observation however if was factual one would expect too see the most vax and most at risk ,ie those in senior care, dropping like flies.
