Ask a CO takes Ontario OUT of DOORS readers’ questions and utilizes the knowledge of Conservation Officers to find the answers.

What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

There are hermaphroditic deer out there, does with antlers and whatnot. They're also called "cryptorchid bucks."
I think it would depend on the situation, as is usually the case when Conservation Officers get involved.

In Ontario this is cut and dry, based on MNRF giving a really good resolution to this topic.
We are allowed to harvest-Antlered and Antlerless deer.

Definition of the Antlerless deer(which also defines antlered deer) is quite clear:

An antlerless deer is a deer with no antlers or with antlers that are both less than 7.5 cm (3 inches) long. Generally, antlerless deer include adult female deer and fawns of both sexes.

This gives no need for any interpretation of the situation by anyone, just a need for a tape measure.
