My expectation is a shorter version of the firearms listed in the amendment will appear as regulations to the legislation which is how specific models of firearms have been prohibited in the past. So, I wouldn't be rushing out to buy an SKS, Benelli MR1 or Ruger PC9 just yet.

Nobody likes to be made a fool of,especially,a narcissist like Trudeau, but,he brought it all on himself. That's what arrogance and stupidity does. The first thing he'll do is privately throw a huge hissy fit, suck his thumb and mope, but, then,he'll want retribution. That's when he'll pull out all the stops to advance the Liberal disarmament policy. That's how people like him roll.
When you're dead, you don't know you're dead. The pain is felt by others. It's the same when you're stupid.

I probably knew a few of those IPSC shooters for the TO Police.
But seeing as you have brought up voting the Liberals out, I will assume voting the Conservatives in.
I hope we do not get a repeat of what happened in great Britain under Boris Johnston and lets make Great Britain Great Again.
They pull ou of the EU and now folks in Britain will be on par with Slovenia for their standard of living this year. Be careful what you ask for.

After the sudden resignation of his replacement and her replacement not being much better,Brits are beginning to realize what they had wasn't bad at all. There's even talk of bringing Boris back. You're quite right in saying "Be careful what you wish for".

Oh they may bring back Boris to end up a backbencher but that would be about it. The latest poll in GB puts the Labour party 25 points ahead of the Conservatives in voting intentions.

Same poll would Boris Johnson be PM in 2023 16% Yes 69% No.

Britain voted in a referendum to leave the EU in 2016. Boris Johnson was elected Prime Minister of Great Britain in 2019. The majority of his term was during the COVID epidemic which had a damaging impact on the economy of many nations including ours.

Boris is the PM who took the country out and gets the blame. IMHO

It David Cameron who set the referendum. A majority of voters in the referendum chose to leave the EU. There was also a general election in which the people of Great Britain elected the party that supported leaving the EU. The people spoke and the government listened.

Well here ya go boys: Marco Mendocino just announced “We are now getting to work with our parliamentary colleagues to craft a clear solution that will keep assault-style weapons off our streets,”
He said this this afternoon. TC
