Which Rod to buy?
Got a Waterworks Guru 2 reel 5/6 weight for bday. Specifications say weight of 4.58oz. I'm a Sage fan......which rod should I get for this spring time? I fish the Grand primarily and Bronte as well.

With todays technology and manufacturing practices there are very few bad rods and a ton of good ones. I think the biggest factor would be personal preference. Things like type or style of fishing, price, action, status symbol factor, there are lot of variables.

Can't go wrong with Sage. I use a few of them. You must have one or two already if you are a fan of Sage. 9 foot is a good all round lenghth for the two rivers you mention.

Have fun, I hope you enjoy your rod. I have several and I get fond of using a particular rod, and I think its just because I like it.
