There's 3 hydro poles on one property I hunt. They have been a buck rub for longer than I've hunted there. Not sure if it gets freshened up every year or what, But they are defintely buck rubs. You can see the deep brow tine marks and most of the gouges go up so rules out bear claws in my opinion.

I get encouraged whenever I find a fresh big rub. It’s even better if you find several in the the same general area. No rubs, or rubs on spindly trees tells me that there likely isn’t a trophy buck in the area.
