Spring is in the air
Spring is in the air though it doesn't look like it with the snow coming down. Have a dove checking out the nesting basket on the pouch which should have woodcock passing through in the next 2 weeks.
Time in the outdoors is never wasted

Where i live the Robins and Crackle's are back they probably wish the were stiill down south with this crappy weather today

Has too much time on their hands
I don’t know about you guys but when spring is in the air, I got turkey hunting on my mind lol

Was out walking a new pup on the 19th of February and saw a robin. That has to be the earliest for me seeing one. I bet it was sorry to be up here so early what with the weather we've had since then....

Red Wing Black Bird males started showing up last weekend. Females will be a few more weeks. Another sure sign are the many, many Turkey Vultures.

Sap has not run yet up here. But the crows are back so that’s a good sign springs around the corner
