On a per capita basis Canadians are about the worse offenders in the World. Long cold winters, long driving distances.

Does your 5% take into consideration the pollution caused all around the World in our EXPORTS OF FOSSIL FUELS?

Your last statement is probably more accurate except you missed Australia.

And China also they’re not third world but I lumped them in because they’re a dictatorship that doesn’t seemed too worried about the environment.

My bill ENDBRIDGE indicates HST is charged on the total bill hence on my last bill it was Total Gas Charge $215.29 and HST $27.99

BUT THERE ARE SIX OTHER ELEMENTS TO THE GAS CHARGES , THE DELIVERY CHARGE IS HIGHER THAN THE CARBON TAX, THE GAS SUPPLY IS HIGHER.


Now if you really want to examine your bill closer please look at the Natural Gas Supply I am paying 23.0333C/m3 March 2023 but back only in March 2022 that was only 14.5201c/m and if you have your bill from March 2020 it was 10.1841c/m3

So please tell me why your upset at a HST on a carbon tax when the GAS COMPANY HAVE INCREASED THERE GAS COST TO YOU BY WELL OVER 100% IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.

So maybe we need a change OF GAS SUPPLY COMPANIES.

Gas and oil companies have made RECORD PROFITS THIS PAST YEAR, GROCERY STORES HAVE MADE RECORD PROFITS but for some strange reason some folks want to put their woes on Government that has little control of any of these increases.

My propane supply company decided this year they needed $1.2cents per lt this past September but the price in the September before was 61cents.

Its not the government ripping me off in Ottawa its Ultramar out of Red Deer ,Alberta.

You missed the point.

I am not JUST complaining about the carbon Tax(being as useless for the environment ,as one can imagine=no clear and accounted goals for that money) BUT the rudeness of our own dear Government WHEN they PUT a Tax on the Tax.
We pay taxes on Enbridge bill(that is another topic of them ripping us off) by WHY we have to pay HST on THE Carbon Tax?

Money grab-that is it!

If they "honestly"(i think this word does not exist in our Politics anymore)NEED to charge Carbon tax ( money destination unknown ) they should perhaps put it AFTER the Enbridge charges(tax applied only on " that" ripoff)

The book has ZERO influencing stance(big applause for that)yet the author lists factually all the knowledge about the Climate ,thru the history.

Few thing i took from the book
Up until 1300 AD or so-we had a very warm climate.
Example-people would grow grapes in Sweden,or Vikings called Vinland areas of NewFoundland-land of the wine!They called Greenland -a green land!
They were in an environment where they were able to live agricultural life for few hundred years.

Then the Mini Ice age started.
Many written records present the impact,the hardship ,and the extent of the cold climate(vikings abandoned Greenland as a result).
The Mini Ice age ended mid-second half of the 1800 hundreds.How convenient for those "hell bent" IMPARTIAL scientist-that the industrial age started about the same time.Humane pollution caused the lobal warming.Just look at the the graphs.So they preach.

What happens when the cold ends-warm up starts ...eh?No science needed to know that.

Remember-up until like 10 years ago-all the saints of the Climate gang were swearing on Global Warming. Today-they say = it is a Climate Change. How convenient twist in terminology.Where did the warming disappeared?
The very same scientists perhaps were shaking from worry and predicting the New Ice age(for about 20 years,up until early 1960 that was the hype)then all of the sudden-we are warming up?!
The very same scientist were wrong at least at one of the prediction?How to trust them then..............

Going back to the Mini Ice age-and the warm climate up until 1300!

There was NO human cause of that warming-eh?No industrial revolution,and the humane kind numbered less then half a billion ppl.
But-the Scientist do NOT really talk about this,because IT DOES NOT fit their agenda.So-they talk about the Hockey stick climate graph(exponential growth of temp since mid 1800)
And-they say,before 1300 it was a weather ANOMALY(forget about it-move on,nothing to see here..........).

Long story short-there is zero clear evidence ,that this warm up is caused by humans,carbon emission etc.
Any scientist trying to talk otherwise -is DONE!Shunned,shut out from publicity,marginalized....so we have none(at least,available to the wide public)

Think for yourself,and do not belive the bleeding hearts! They are just JUSTIFYING their own existence.

Read the book perhaps,to see for your self.
No politics-no brainwashing-no agenda-JUST facts from the history.You will learn something new,for sure.





At the end-protecting the environment, and PREVENTING the major crime we do against out environment is a COMPLETELLY other topic( widely avoided by those "how you dare "crowds-because there actually THEY COULD ACHIEVE SOMETHING)!
If they would be so dedicated.

But hey-that is a thankless hard work! Easier to talk the talk-then walk the walk.

Agree 100%, btw just double checked and Canada is acutely responsible for less than 1.8 percent of global emissions. Sorry for my mistake.

Would be better for a fella to simply post "their evidence" to convince another fella that he might be wrong.

In other words for every scientist who says that climate change is not rapidly accelerating there will be ten others who say it is.

The anti change climate scientists will themselves probably be funded by big oil, big coal..... and the others will probably be funded by scores of other entities including Governments from around the world.

Don't forget they own the science.

It must get tiresome worrying about “them” and what “they” own. It’s also very hard to believe that everything is so easily controllable. In todays modern world with all our technology you cannot silence everyone.

How can this be similar to “Stalinist propaganda”? In Canada we have freedom of thought and expression without persecution. A tad bit dramatic in my opinion.
