    There is a quarry in Haliburton , I think it’s called Whitestone
    You can buy dolomitic lime from them.
    They will deliver by the dump truckload.
    works good
    We find white clover , brassicas all grow good up there … lime and fertilizer

    I might try that. Where do you get your seed? Not sure if the co-ops up there would have that kind of variety. Also what kind of clover are all you guys planting? White sounds preferable but it seems like a lot of guys are doing a mix with either red or some other forage.

    we buy our purple top turnips and daikon radishes at our local feed store in southern Ontario, I tried white clover from them but it didn’t do great.
    whitetail institute … whitetail clover works very well , grows good even when conditions are tough. Expensive but it’s worth it. It last usually 5 years before it’s done
